The Carriage Barn Equestrian Center rebuilds
the Kettle Carriage House in Newton, NH
Kettle Carriage House - original
The Kettle House was originally constructed in 1891 as a carriage barn on the Lorenzo N. Kettle Family Estate in Weston, Massachusetts, to store Kettle's carriage, his steeds, and as a quarters for those who worked the estate. Kettle was a wool merchant in Boston and maintained his estate as a gentleman's farm until after World War II. The barn remained on the Weston site until 1999 when it was dismantled and stored. The building was moved to the Carriage Barn facility for restoration in the summer of 2000.

Now completed, the Kettle House Carriage Barn is available for workshops, office parties and special events, including weddings and anniversaries. We will provide catered functions and private rooms. Please join our staff for a learning weekend, clinic, or escape from the work-a-day world. Overlook the 100 meter outdoor arena or drive our wooded carriage trails. Step back in time to a quiet, gentle moment. Call 603-378-0140.
